Current Initiatives

We are actively advancing several initiatives designed to support aquaculture facilities in achieving healthier, cleaner, and more stable water systems. Our primary ongoing project focuses on testing and validating our proprietary biological, chemical-free device that reduces harmful algae, bacteria, and biofilm buildup in tanks. This work includes controlled trials, water-quality monitoring, and collaboration with research institutes to measure its real-world impact on fish welfare and farm efficiency. This initiative will help reduce bacterial load naturally, improving fish health without relying on antibiotics.

Sea Lice Prevention Trial
We are developing new integrated strategies for controlling sea lice and microbial diseases using a combination of natural feed-based solutions and innovative treatment technologies.

Sustainable Water Consultancy
We offer bespoke consultancy services to fish farms worldwide helping farms address issues such as algal overgrowth, winter ulcers disease, sea lice infestations, biofilm formation, and oxygen depletion through custom-tailored management plans. This eventually leads to an increase in operational efficiency while maintaining ecological integrity.

Algal Overgrowth Modelling
Our team is building predictive models for algal blooms in aquaculture systems, helping farms act proactively before issues spiral out of control.
Through research partnerships, on-site assessments, and continuous innovation, SamthanS is building solutions that respond to the immediate needs of the industry — improving farm performance while reducing reliance on harsh chemicals.
